RRB Group D 2018: Apply online for 32 438 Vacancies
RRB published a short notice for recruitment on December 28th 2024 of 32 438 candidates for Indian Railways at Level 1 of 7th CPC pay matrix. Online applications are now open at rrbapply.gov.in, and will remain so until February 22, 2025. Indian Railways has notified various vacancies for departments such as S & T, Mechanical, Electrical, Traffic, etc. The names of these posts are assistant (workshop), Assistant (bridge), Assistant (S & T), Pointsman, Track Maintainer, etc.

RRB Group D: Online application process in 2025.
There are two sections to the RRB Group D Application Process, which is Part I (Registration), and Part II (Candidate Login). Follow the below steps to successfully complete the RRB Group-D apply online process 2024.
The first step of the RRB Group D Application Process is to register. This step-by-step tutorial will help you complete the registration with ease.
- Step 1: Go to the RRB official website, which is rrbapply.gov.in.
- Step 2: To register, click on the “APPLY” button. The form for registering will appear. Enter the required details such as the Aadhaar Number, Aadhaar, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and so on.
- Step 3:To complete registration, click the “Preview and create account” button.
All registered applicants must fill in the required details after the RRB Group D Registration process.
- Step 1: Sign in to the system using a valid mobile number and email address.
- Step 2:Fill out the RRB Group D Online Form.
- Step 3: Upload your signature and photo in the format specified.

RRB Group D Online Application Form 2025: Important Dates
Indian Railways plans to fill 32 438 Level 1 vacancies. Online applications were launched on 23 January 2025. The candidates will only be able to submit one RRB application online at a given time. RRB Group C Eligibility Criteria for 2025
Candidates applying for RRB Group D positions in Indian Railways who have recently been announced must hold a class 10 certificate or an equivalent. They also need to be between 18 and 36. Reserved category candidates will receive an age relaxation. Indian Railways will select candidates for level-1 positions. Candidates who have not yet received their results are ineligible to apply. RRB Group D 2025 Age Limit is shown in the below table.

RRB Selection Procedure Group D 2025
Candidates will be chosen based on their performance during CBT, Physical Efficiency Tests, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Details below
Computer Based Tests: This is the first examination stage where candidates will have to answer 100 multiple choice questions from various subjects, such as mathematics, reasoning, general knowledge and science. Total time allowed for the exam is 90 minutes.
The second step in the selection process is called the Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who pass the preliminary examination are called to take part in the physical test. To determine the eligibility of male and female candidates, different standards are applied.

RRB Group D Fees for 2025
Candidates applying to the Group D vacancies at Indian Railways must pay an application fee according to their categories. Candidates in the general category will be required to pay Rs. 500, while candidates from reserved categories are only charged Rs. 250. Railways refunds fees to candidates who attempt CBT. Refunds will range from Rs. 400 to Rs. 250 depending on the application fee paid. The table below shows the application fee categories.
